The Toi Thomas YouTube channel will be the host to new content catering to books and reading advocacy, as well as promoting authors and other creatives, under the Lit Carnivale banner. We are currently in development on several interview programs with a focus on reading, creativity, and fandom.
Toi will continue to post her regular Youtube content but it will not have the listing and branding of the Lit Carnivale content. Check out her playlists to see what she offers: Counting My Blessings | Reading Challenge Update | Book Reviews |
The Read Local Show focuses on interviewing authors, artists, and industry professionals from the Coastal VA, Hampton Roads, and greater Tidewater area.
The Read All Over Show will expand to suit a global audience, featuring authors, artists, and industry professionals from all over.
These will be our landmark shows to engage readers, fans, and writers. This talk show takes on bookish topics about reading preferences, writing tips, and more. Questions for 4 different categories can be submitted by the guest’s family, friends, and fans ahead of time.
On the Bookshelf- getting to know our guest as a reader
The Open Book- getting to know our guest as a writer
The Book Signing- learning more about a specific publication(s) the writer has released
Can’t Judge a Book by Its Cover- having fun while indulging in bookish and geekish whimsy
As the number of channel subscribers and or Patreon supporters grows, more new content will be added, such as content for spotlighting other creatives, time dedicated to the fandom of almost anything, a celebration of the things and activities we “geek out” over, and even content dedicated to our beloved pets.
